Morgan J. Wais

Morgan has extensive experience in civil litigation, including jury trials and post-judgment appeals.  Prior to co-founding Rainier Legal Advocates, LLC, Morgan spent three and a half years working for a notable Seattle defense firm conducting construction defect defense, premises liability defense, land use defense, and insurance defense, among other litigated cases.  Morgan also spent more than five years working in-house for one of the Country's largest auto insurers, where he defended his clients and the company in hundreds of arbitrations, dozens of mediations, and more than 15 jury trials.  Additionally, Morgan has spent years defending criminally accused persons throughout the counties and municipalities of Washington, with numerous jury verdicts in favor of his clients. Morgan also frequently serves as a court appointed arbitrator and settlement guardian ad litem (SGAL) for King County.

Morgan attended Seattle University School of Law, where he was a published author in the Seattle University Law Review, while also serving as one of its managing editors.  For his undergraduate, Morgan attended the University of Washington, earning a Bachelors in Business Administration with a minor in Law, Society, and Justice.

Outside of the office and courtroom, Morgan is an avid outdoor enthusiast.  He loves mountain biking, skiing, snowboarding, backpacking, and camping.  Morgan has climbed to the summit of Mt. Rainier seven times, and he completed Ironman Canada in 2013.  Morgan also assists with youth sports to keep himself and his three kids active at all times.
