Community Connections

The attorneys and staff at Rainier Legal Advocates, LLC live, work, and play in your community. We are a community centered law firm determined to serve the needs of the people and businesses that serve us. We are actively involved in outdoor non-profit work, youth sports, and community events in our towns.

Of course, we are also involved in improving the practice and state of law in Washington and our local communities, including our involvement with the Washington State Bar Association, King County Bar Association, Washington Defense Trial Lawyers Association, and Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Below are some of the community connections we participate in or endorse.

Yoga Behind Bars ("YBB") works with the WA State corrections leadership to create opportunities within the system, including yoga classes for prison staff and yoga teacher training for incarcerated people. Yoga Behind Bars is committed to breaking the cycle of trauma-stress-prison by creating the opportunity for incarcerated people to heal, grow, and prepare for their return to our communities.

"Yoga is both subtle and powerful. Your work is powerful, your presence in prison is important. Your presence reminds us of our humanity and it is my hope that when you speak to others about your work in prison that you remind them of ours. Because sometimes we both forget." - YBB Student, Monroe Correctional Facility

Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance is Washington State's largest mountain bike organization.
